L at Life!
i. upgrade turned to downgrade
Today felt like a good day to upgrade my doll blog to Wordpress 2.5 to check out its features, as well as to give it a trial run before implementing to Kitchen Cow. Okaaaaay. Looks okay. I backed up my database and all. Five minutes into uploading files MANUALLY via my control panel's File Manager, my eyes began to droop. Ten minutes into it, I give up. *flails about*
My dollie blog is in a coma right now. Hopefully, it can be revived when I get home, as soon as I can find a decent Windows-based FTP client that comes as freeware. Days like these, I just want to fork over money and buy WS-FTP, the client I've been using on and off since college. But seeing my bills kill the idea.
ii. desperately seeking needle
The jersey needle eludes me once again. I really need to get my hands on one of those things if I want to make dollie hoodies. Normally, I like sewing on my machine, it feels therapeutic and productive. But whenever my colored jersey cloth gets eaten by my feedplate (or whatever you call it, I don't remember anymore), I tear at my hair in despair. I mean, how unlucky can I be, SM doesn't have it! They're supposed to have it all, for you! Liars! They lie! Their ad agency should be shot
